The Collaboration Code – Global Online Tutorial (U.S. and East Asia)
Time & Location
May 28-August 6
About the Event
This 10-session ENTIRELY VIRTUAL course is for a small, global cohort of experienced facilitators looking to increase their mastery in the Design and Facilitation of Collaborative Work.
The course is designed so that participants from Australia and East Asia can join their US colleagues in one global course. Sessions are scheduled for Thursday evenings (8-11pm EDT) in the US and Friday mornings (8-11am Hong Kong time) for participants from East Asia. Classes will be weekly.
About the Event
The course will be led by Rob Evans and Carolyn Buck Luce. Participants will receive personal copies of Patterns, Tools, and Models, three volumes of the Collaboration Code™, the state-of-the-art system for collaborative working ($395 value).
By the end of this class in workshop design and facilitation, participants will:
Understand and apply the essential patterns, models, and core principles of collaborative work
Expand practical strategies for selling to and working effectively with client executives and organizational leaders at all levels
Master a comprehensive set of workshop modules, tools, and models and understand where and how to apply them in large group, multi-day workshops – both in-person and online
Design workshops to deal successfully with complex challenges (the course includes practice designing for existing clients with detailed feedback from Rob and Carolyn)
Reduce risk in the sales and delivery of the most difficult projects
Increase competence – and confidence – in leading groups to successful outcomes in person and virtually
This class is not appropriate for novice facilitators. Participants must have previously demonstrated familiarity with the core elements of facilitation: effective listening, basic workshop design, stage presence, etc.
Format
Ten sessions conducted weekly, plus one session in advance for technical setup
Each class is three hours long with a ten-minute break.
Students will have 1-2 hours of prep for each session.
We will record each class to allow any participant who has to miss a session to keepup with the rest of the class.
Carolyn and Rob will be available weekly for office hours.
